Littlehampton Concert Band

Bob Haselip is at the helm of this community band. As well as performing all over the county, the highlight of their concert calendar is the Last Night of the Proms, held in Littlehampton every September – very popular indeed.

Bognor Regis Concert Band

Our good colleagues over at Bognor, this one run by Howard Burchfield – the brother of Adur Band’s musical director. As well as lots of other performances, they are becoming particularly well known for an excellent ‘Proms In The Park’ concert held every year at Hotham park. A very good event.

Southdowns Concert Band

A band based in Arundel with a vision to develop and improve musical excellence within the ensemble, and to perform of the highest standard at concert venues throughout the Southern area.

East Sussex Concert Band

The East Sussex Concert Band is a community concert band based in Chailey, UK. Directed by Johnathan Bailey, we play concerts throughout East Sussex and also embark on regular short tours to various places in Europe.

Second Wind Concert Band

Second Wind was formed in 1998 by a group of like-minded players from the area around the town of Sevenoaks in Kent. Although many members now come from further afield, Second Wind has always regarded itself as a Sevenoaks band, and is a long-standing supporter of, and performer at, the town’s Summer Festival.

Phoenix Big Band

Northbrook Concert Band

Another local band this time from Worthing. This band is lots of fun and has a strong community focus.

Petworth Town Band

Everything a friendly, enthusiastic and entertaining town band ought to be: established since the middle of the 19th century – and still going strong.

West Chiltington Silver Band

This local silver band has been going for over a century. They play a range of brass band music and accept competent players of all standards. Beware, they are strictly brass so don’t try to smuggle your saxophone in!

The Sussex Band of The Royal British Legion (Horsham)

A concert band consisting of woodwind, brass and percussion, that also takes part in parades and carnivals. The band also has a Dance band made up from members of the main concert band.

Crawley Millennium Band)

This band plays an exciting range of music from rock to jazz, classical to military and dance to show music. With a music library of about 300 pieces, there is something for every occasion.
